Family owner

LEONIE LEUSCHNER

Leonie is the face of the winery and has been deeply connected to this place since childhood. Drawing on this long-standing bond, she brings a personal perspective that bridges tradition and the present.

Without a conventional background in the wine world, she consciously creates space for new viewpoints. She regularly introduces fresh influences and inspiration, continuously evolving both the winery and its external communications. Her focus is not on rapid change, but on careful, contemporary development—such as through new initiatives in the product range, including the expansion of white wine production.

Winegrower and Oenologist

NICOLAS JOURDAN

Nicolas Jourdan, the estate’s new manager, has numerous ideas and projects for developing and revitalizing Grand Fontanille while preserving the site’s traditions and values. Originally from Arles and raised in a winemaking family, Nicolas trained in Burgundy and at Domaine Hauvette; he now serves as the estate’s winemaker and oenologist. He brings a fresh perspective to cultivating the vines and producing wines with a distinctive identity.

Sales Manager

COLINE PERNIX

Coline Pernix, the estate’s new sales representative, studied viticulture and oenology. She worked as a wine merchant at Domaine Tavernel and subsequently as a cellar master at Domaine Pratavone in Corsica. She later decided to step away from production and winemaking to open her own wine shop (specializing in organic and natural wines) and wine bar within her father's former stone quarries in Les Baux-de-Provence. Today, Coline manages all commercial, event, and marketing aspects of the estate.

Landscape gardener

JEAN MARIE RIBERI

For four years, Jean Marie has been the estate’s dedicated gardener, tending with loving care to the grounds for which the property is renowned. His three-hectare garden is an oasis of diversity that requires constant attention to preserve its rich botanical heritage. From maintaining the lush flowerbeds to preserving the mature trees, Jean Marie’s commitment and expertise help to sustain and enhance the estate’s beauty and charm.
